Denise Stricklen is a full-time REALTOR® with more than 40 years of experience helping buyers and sellers navigate the Charleston-area real estate market. A lifelong West Virginia resident, Denise truly loves the community she calls home and enjoys helping others discover all that the Mountain State has to offer.
Known for her dedication, local knowledge, and personal approach, Denise guides her clients through every step of the process—from the first conversation to closing day. She works with first-time buyers, growing families, those relocating, and clients building their dream homes, always focused on making the experience smooth and successful.
Denise is also a trusted relocation specialist, helping individuals and families feel at home in the Charleston area. She is married to J.D. Stricklen, one of Charleston’s premier home developers, known for building high-quality homes in some of the region’s most desirable communities.

Joe Pacifico specializes in all aspects of Residential and Commercial Real Estate in West Virginia. Joe is a Charleston, WV native and graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Since joining Old Colony in 2008 Joe prides himself on building and maintaining relationships with his clients by working hard to give them the best quality service while always looking out for their best interest. He is dedicated to being knowledgeable in all areas and up to date on the market to better serve his clients buying and selling needs. Joe has grown up in the real estate business his whole life because of his mother, a veteran REALTOR® Being around the business at an early age and now having a seasoned mentor to look up to has only grown his passion for real estate. Whether it is enjoying all that the Kanawha Valley has to offer or taking trips out of town, Joe loves spending his free time with his wife Emily, and daughter Mila. In between family time and cheering on Mila in all her activities you can find Joe on the golf course with friends.
Emily Pacifico is a lifelong resident of Charleston, West Virginia, Emily Pacifico is passionate about helping her clients discover everything the Kanawha Valley has to offer. With deep local roots and an in-depth knowledge of the area’s neighborhoods, she provides valuable insight to help buyers and sellers confidently achieve their real estate goals.
Emily is dedicated to making the home buying and selling process as smooth and rewarding as possible. She takes pride in guiding her clients through every step, sharing in the excitement while ensuring they feel informed and supported along the way.
A 2004 graduate of George Washington High School, Emily went on to earn her degree in Business Marketing and Economics from West Virginia State University in 2011. She began her real estate career in 2007 as an assistant with Denise at Old Colony, quickly discovering her passion for the industry. In 2008, she obtained her real estate license and has been committed to serving her clients with professionalism and care ever since.
